Dorm Room Checklist - Must Have Dorm Essentials

You can easily find a dorm room checklist online, but ultimately, you really just need the most important things for your dormitory stay.

You don't have to bring your whole house. Remember, you'll most likely not have enough space and you don't know what your roommate will be bringing either.

At any rate, here are 5 things that should be in every dorm room check list. These are 5 important things you need if you want your life to be as comfortable as possible.

First of all, make sure you have slippers or sandals for the bathroom. Chances are you'll be sharing the bathroom with many other students and you really want your feet protected and clean whenever you use the bathroom. There will be times when the bathroom will not be as squeaky-clean as you might want it to be, and you'll be thankful to have some slippers with you during these times.

Secondly, bring headphones. Headphones are an absolute must if you're sharing a room. There'll be a lot of times when you're listening to radio, music, tv or YouTube when you don't want to disturb your roommate. Headphones are the perfect way to make sure no one gets annoyed by any noise.

Don't forget ear plugs either. Yes. You heard that right. You'll need them my friend. You'll be lucky if you have a roommate who's as quiet as a mouse, but chances are you won't. And there will be times when you really need some sleep and you want to cancel all the noise your roommate is making.

In addition, one luxury item you'll apartment blender want to have is a compact refrigerator. Yes it's a luxury. But it's really good to not have to go to the cafeteria every hour for a cold drink. It's also nice to know you have food and drinks right there for those late nights when you'll be doing some serious studying for that Physics exam.

Lastly, don't forget a dorm shower caddy. As I've said, you'll be sharing a bathroom and you'd ideally want all your bathroom stuff in one place whenever you need to use the shower. Choose a shower caddy tote as it holds a variety of things and it can easily be hung in the shower too!
